For 54 students the marks on the Baccalaureate Exam to Physics will be increased by one point, according to the report presented today at the Government meeting. In this regard a decision was taken by the Commission established by the Ministry of Education, which assessed the degree of difficulty of the baccalaureate in this test. The request was made previously by Prime Minister Pavel Filip.
Following the Prime Minister's guideline, the Ministry of Education reported and formed a committee of notorious physicists who reevaluated the 187 physics papers of the candidates who held this year's examination.
Thus, 50 candidates from the real profile and four candidates from the humanist profile are to be increased by one point. 12 of the 18 members fully supported the decision of the special committee, the other members refrained. Everyone agreed.
The marks will be changed based on an order issued by the Minister of Education. The Ministry of Education will issue new diplomas from its own sources, " declared the Minister of Education, Culture and Research, Monica Mabuc.
At the same time, Premier Pavel Filip declared that those who were guilty would answer for these mistakes.
"Primary, this order must be issued, so that children will not suffer because of those who were wrong. At the same time, we have to identify the guilty persons who have elaborated too complicated tests for the pupils' level of knowledge. All of them have to answer, to know the burden of their responsibility" the prime minister said.
