Blight for two young men who wanted to pass the Sculeni customs. They were from Romania and the Russian Federation and could not justify their presence at the border. The young people were detained for a few hours.
The patrol to maintain the regime at the crossing point Sculeni noticed a person who was fleeing on the bridge from Romania. At the entrance to the crossing point, near the barrier, the man was stopped and checked. He did not have any identity documents and showed inappropriate behavior. According to him, he has been a 38-year-old Romanian citizen, a fact confirmed later by Romanian colleagues. At the same time, as a result of the exchange of information and case data between Moldovan-Romanian border officials, it was established that the citizen illegally crossed the state border, bypassing the Sculeni crossing point. The young man was referred to the Romanian Border Police in order to take the necessary legal measures.

By 16:30 at the level of the Sculeni Border Police Sector there was a complaint from the local population regarding the presence in the locality of a foreign citizen interested in the route to the border. Operationally, several patrols were concentrated on the border perimeter of responsibility. As a result, the citizen of the Russian Federation for 38 years was identified on the Prut bank. Although the person managed to prove that he did not intend to illegally cross the Moldovan-Romanian border by presenting his registration on one of the air routes, he was investigated contravenously for violation of the border regime regime. The man said that he was nearby and from simple curiosity went to the Prut River, not knowing that the area was only allowed with the advice of the Border Police.
