Two Moldovans from Cahul and Chisinau wanted to cross the border between Moldova and Ukraine with cars that had fake vehicle registration plate , but the border police revealed them.
The men aged of 28 and 35 year tried to withdraw from the country a Mercedes 305G and a BMW 325. The cars were matriculated in the UK.
After the investigation, the border police found out that the vehicle registration plate were fake.
The drivers didn't want to declare anything about what happened, they didn't even want to talk with the police to help them elucidate the circumstances of the case.
As a result of the protocols to withdraw the driving plates the vehicles were seized at Palanca border. Thus, the drivers couldn't continue their way.
The men risk up to 650 conventional units, between 150 and 200 hours of unpaid work, or two years behind the bars.
