A bailiff was arrested on suspicion of abuse of service and going out of his jurisdiction, both of which caused severe consequences.

According to prosecutors, a person reported the bailiff of abuse of service.

In 2016, through a court's decision, the petitioner was obligated to respond to a person at a prior request and pay 300 lei as compensation for moral damages.

The bailiff that was responsible for the case, has issued a forced execution fee document using his position, having added additional taxes, the price illegally rising to 6 000 lei.

Disagreeing with the calculations, the woman addressed the court, appealing the abusive actions. Meanwhile, the bailiff issued a new document obligating the woman to execute the court's decision, even if she announced an appeal. Moreover, the bailiff ordered her car to be seized.

Following the abusive actions, the debtor was forced to pay 1 611 lei which constitutes the forced execution fees, while through the abusive actions, the bailiff caused a prejudice of over 63 000 lei.

The bailiff now risks a 6 to 10 year sentence.
