Another main road gets into rehabilitation works. We are talking about the national road Balti-Falesti-Sculeni. The rehabilitation works will be done by an Italian company, who won the tender.

The work expenses are approximately 50 million euro, money lend by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.

Apart of the rehabilitation of the destroyed asphalt, the works also imply the rehabilitation of bridges, and the installation of traffic circles.

"This road includes the rehabilitation of all bridges, the construction of footways and the illumination of roads in villages. The road will be enlarged with 1 meter, giving the possibility to move more safely and operatively" said the minister of Transports, Iurie Chirinciuc.

The deputy chief of the State Administration of Roads mentioned that on the rehabilitated road will be two traffic circles, which will make the traffic a lot lighter.

Before the start of rehabilitation works, near a village situated on that road was installed a mini asphalt factory, used at the rehabilitation works. The owner of the construction company ensures that the works will be done as perfect as possible. The part of 55 kilometers has to be rehabilitated until February 2018.
