Bars are not an obstacle for the professional achievement
The bars are not an obstacle for the professional achievement. 73 teenagers detained in the Goian prison learn their professions there, due to a project financed by the German Embassy in Moldova.
The boy from the images is 18 year old. He has ten months since he is in prison. He regrets his mistakes and says he wants a new life.
''At the first course I learned to be a hairstylist, at the second, a cook, at the third a shoemaker and at the forth an operator and now, in the fifth I study as a confectioner'', said the prisoner.
Other teenagers hope they will have a normal life when they will be free.
''It was hard at the beginning, we didn't know anything, but then I got used to it. It will be useful in life, when I will find a job, or even for my family.''
The project ''Our future depends on us'', worth a hundred thousand lei was launched in 2013. Within the project, there were given over 136 certificates of professional qualification.
''The main target was just the education of the teens, but when they will be free they will find a job. We will help them find a job, because it is not that easy to find a job after prison'', said the coordinator of the project, Ilie Zabica.
''The teachers were coming in prison, they had classes, that were renovated and technically equipped'', said Aureliu Suhan, the interim of DIP.
The responsible of the Justice Minister say many prisoners found a job.
''A prisoner found a job in the public alimentation sphere, in Chisinau, another one, in Cahul'', said Anatolie Munteanu, the general secretary of the Justice Ministery
In the Penitentiary number 10 from Goian there are 30 teenagers.
