BERD supports Moldovan government in electricity, railway and solid garbage projects
The Prime Minister of Republic of Moldova, Pavel Filip had a meeting with Francis Malige, the general director of Estern Europe and Caucaz at the European Bank for Recontruction and Development (BERD). The officials exchanged the opinions about the investment projects of national importance, for 2018. Also, they talked about the impact of the promoted reforms of the Government about the economy development of the country.
In the context, there were approved such projects as: the ones of the infrastructure, transportation, energy, water, sewerage and economy development.
The chief of the Executive showed his gratitude for the BERD's support and refered to the Governmental agenda that wants to implement the administration reform to increase the capacity of the institutions to use the external assistance more efficient.
''We look at the reform and their complexity, because we are sure that we can obtain good results in the economy development'', said Pavel Filip.
Francis Malige appreciated Government's efforts and the courage to promote reforms on many segments at the same time.
In the context, BERD promised to support the Eastern Europe and the Caucaz in the projects of electricity, railways and solid garbage.
Also, the official confirmed BERD's disponibility to support our country in the identification of the potential investors in the commercial banks from Republic of Moldova.
