Better conditions for border guards: Residential containers and kitchens donated by the US

The United States Embassy donated six mobile dwelling containers equipped with sanitary blocks, kitchens, and rest rooms. The US Ambassador to Moldova Dereck Hogan attended the event and, at the invitation of Border Police Chief, Fredolin Lecari, drank a tea in one of the new kitchens.
Border policemen can now enjoy modern conditions, especially when they have everything they need at hand.

Common control on the Moldovan-Ukrainian border segment started in July 2017. The first open point was Pervomaisk - Cuciurgan on the territory of Ukraine. So far, six points of administration have been opened in the commune.
