The car parts market from Calea Orheiului street of the Capital will turn into a modern supermarket. 

The rusty counters will be replaced by new ones. Also, 700 parking places will be arranged in the commercial zones a cars showroom will be built.

The building works will be made by an economic agent from Chisinau who decided to invest over 6 million Euro.

Now, the sellers work in hard conditions. The majority of the counters are rusty and damaged, the market has a lot of holes and mud.

According to the administrators, daily, over 1000 costumers visit the market daily. Yearly, the sold pieces bring half billion lei.

The administration also says that after the modernization of the complex, the sellers will not lose their jobs and the price of renting a counter will not change that much.

"There will be 157 new counters. 80% of the sellers will stay here", said Sergiu Babanschi, administrator of the auto market.

The new project will also solve the traffic jam in the region.

"The store will have a modern parking place that can fit 750 cars", said Magomed Galaev, director of the company that will make the building work.

Both the sellers and the customers can't wait forward the modernization of the market.

"It is even better for the sellers and customers."

The Auto market from Calea Orheiului street is the biggest one from the country. It was build int he Soviet period.
