Great joy for the inhabitants of the village of Zahoreni in Orhei district. A half-mile section of road linking the central street with the church was rehabilitated and people would get to the place easier. The works are part of the project "Good Roads for Moldova".

The portion of the road was sanctified by the priest in the village.
"It is vitally important for the way to be sanctified, people go with confidence, people are not afraid to fall down, or God forbid that another misfortune will happen," said Gheorghe Golban, priest.
The cost of repair works is 1.4 million lei. Up to now, over 560 kilometers of roads and streets have been repaired within the "Good Roads for Moldova" project, and another 180 are in work.
"We very much want continuity, it is a novel project and I am glad that the villagers have appreciated and appreciate this idea and this initiative," said Cyril Gaburici, Minister of Economy and Infrastructure.
