Scandal in the United States. Bijan Rafiekian, Michael Flynn's business partner, former security adviser of President Donald Trump, and Turkish businessman Ekim Alpetkin are judeged in Virginia. They are accused of making false statements to FBI investigators in a file on the actions of the Turkish government of discrediting cleric Fethullah Gulen.
Examination of the case began last month, but Rafiekian's lawyers have called for the postponement of the September trial. The name of Trump's former security adviser, Michael Flynn, also appears in a new investigation published by the zeppelin.md portal.
Among his partners are Dmitri and David Zaikin, who is in the scandal about the involvement of Russian services in the US presidential election in 2016.
The zeppelin investigation reveals that Zaikin has also collaborated with Veaceslav Platon, the author of the money laundering schemes - the "Russian laundry" and the "Moldovan billion theft".
More precisely, Zaikin lobbyist was paid by Platon with over $60,000 to provide advice to PAS leader Maia Sandu during the presidential election in 2016.
