The "Bogdan Voievod" market from Râşcani sector of the Capital will close down, while its residents will move to a new building. The announcement was made by head of the General Directorate for Trade, Marcel Zambiţchi, at the meeting of municipal services.
According to the official, the 100 vendors will work there to the end of this year, while afterwards, they will move to Calea Moşilor St. In this context, interim Mayor, Silvia Radu declared that vendors are causing chaos in the city.
The official also claims that multiple citizens of the Capital complied that vendors from "Tiraspol" market on Dimitrie Cantemir boulevard are selling their goods right in the streets.
The City Hall is searching for a solution. In the Capital there are 39 active markets.
