The bomb threat at Botanica's Education, Youth and Sport Directorate from Chisinau proved to be false. After investigating for nearly two hours, law enforcement have not managed to find anything. The alert was risen yesterday, after a man called the police and warned of explosive in the building.

"The area was surrounded, at the time only the Security Guard was present. After the bomb disposal unit searched the building, no suspicious objects or explosive was found" press officer of Capital's police, Natalia Stati said.

Nearby residents claim that they do not fear, as bomb threats happen often.

"As usual. Someone made a a dumb joke."

"- Someone called and warned of a bomb located in the building.

- Were you scare?

- Of course not! Were it true, all residents would have been evacuated."

The person who made the false bomb threat call will be fined to 42 000 lei, or will spend the next 2 years behind bars. 

Publika reminds that this is the 3rd bomb scare this week. The first one took place on Tuesday, at the Central Court, while the second yesterday, at a bank from Ștefan cel Mare și Sfânt boulevard.
