The illegal installed gas cylinders made new victims. Four more victims have been registered.

The explosions in the past - 2007 – Soroca, 2014 – Orhei, 2015 – Cantemir, 2016 and 2018 – Chişinău haven't been a lesson for people.  

Today, PUBLIKA TV launches a campaign to inform the citizens about the danger of the gas cylinders.

The use of gas cylinders in the flats is illegal, says Ruslan Codreanu, the mayor of the Capital. The authorities urge people to denounce the persons who use the gas cylinders in their flats.

Thus, people can call on the following numbers: 022 22 22 67/022 22 26 04.

The workers of the call-center work 24/24.

"We have received a couple of messages from some people that they know who keep gas cylinders in their flats. We don't have the right to enter their flats. But, the use of gas cylinders in the flats is illegal", said Ruslan Codreanu, the interim of the Capital.

The municipality also announced that all the Capital buildings will be checked.

The measure is taken, due to the explosion that took place on Saturday in a flat from Moscova boulevard.
