Between March 26 – April 1 2018 the following illegal acts were registered at borders:

- 42 people attempted to illegally cross the border;

- 6 drivers documented for illegal movement of goods and people;

- 20 foreign citizens have overstayed in Republic of Moldova;

- 4 attempts of smuggling;

As a result, 61 cases were opened, where a total of 27 150 lei were applied as fines, out of which 11 850 lei were already cashed in.

During last week, 34 foreign citizens, as well as 81 vehicles were refused entry into Republic of Moldova. 5 citizens of Moldova were refused entry to Russia. One Moldovan was deported from Russia.

At the same time, 354 015 people have crossed the border, among whom 185 094 came to Republic of Moldova. The number of vehicles that crossed the borders amounts to 88 615, most having Moldovan registration plates - 44 861 vehicles.

Otaci – 46 488 people crossed the border,

Chisinau International Airport - 42 147 people crossed the border,

Sculeni – 36 995 people crossed the border,

Giurgiulești-Galați - 25 433 people crossed the border,

Criva – 19 455 people crossed the border,

Cahul – 17 965 people crossed the border,

Palanca – 14 512 people crossed the border,

Costești - 12 948 people crossed the border.
