A man from the Capital was imprisoned by the CNA officers as he is suspected of influence peddling. 

The suspect was detained after the husband and wife from Chisinau complained to CNA for the illegal activity of the man and said that he asked them for 15 000 euros to help them buy a land. The man didn't fulfill his responsibility.

According to the agreement, the project will influence many employees within the Chisinau City Hall and employees of the public services agency. 

Yesterday, the anti-corruption employees started the searches at the man's house. They found 4 300 Euro, documents and other suspect things.

If found guilty, the man risk up to six years in prison or a fine of up to 200 000 lei.
