Bucharest City Hall will finance renovation of the granite stairs from Valea Morilor park

A historic monument from Chisinau will regain its glory with the financial support of Bucharest City Hall. Valea Morilor park is considered among the most important parks from Chisinau. To celebrate its hundredth anniversary, Bucharest City Hall will offer financial support for the rehabilitation of the stairs.
Interim Mayor of Chisinau, Ruslan Codreanu, chief of Centru sector, Pavel Rus, along with Dan Tudorache, have signed on May 16, 2018 an agreement for financing the project Reconstruction of Valea Morilor - Stage of Granite stairs reconstruction.
Based on this agreement, Bucharest city Hall will allocate 920 000 Euro for the reconstruction of the granite stairs, it being linked with other historic monuments from the park, such as the monument of Doina and Ion Aldea-Teodorovici.
The granite stairs from Valea Morilor park is made out of 213 steps.
