Bulgarian Vice President praised Moldova for all its achievements during meeting with Pavel Filip
PM Pavel Filip has met with Bulgarian Vice President, Iliana Iotova. The officials have discussed regarding the bilateral relations between Moldova and Bulgaria, as well as opportunities to deepen it.
The two have shared their opinions regarding the countries partnership agenda and have agreed that cooperation must be intensified in fields of common interests. Iliana Iotova has also expressed her pleasure to the idea of opening a new consulate in Taraclia, another factor that will benefit the bilateral relations.
PM Pavel Filip has expressed his gratitude toward Bulgaria for its help in Moldova's European Integration. "We need such friends as Bulgaria in EU, countries that have already passed this road and know what we are facing. Moldova does not need praise, but critical opinions" he said.
Pavel Filip has also declared that Republic of Moldova needs all the support it can get, in order to implement reforms, improving the citizens lives and making the European path a point of no return.
In her turn, Iliana Iotova has announced that Bulgaria will continue supporting our country in its European Integration and appreciates that authorities are taking into account and solving problems of minorities, including Bulgarian citizens, saying: "Republic of Moldova is a great example to follow when it comes to respecting human's rights".
She also greeted the collaboration between Taraclia State University and two Universities from Bulgaria.
In the end Pavel Filip has mentioned the latest development in Transnistria issues and requested support at the next UN General Assembly, when the topic of Russian troops withdrawal from the territory of Republic of Moldova will be discussed.
