Burned building from Uzinelor Street on verge of collapsing. Nearby roads closed off
The roads near the building from Uzinelor Street, which burned in autumn 2016, remains closed off for the public. The building's upper levels are at the risk of collapsing. The subject being discussed this morning at the City Hall. According to local authorities, the burned rooms were supposed to be disassembled a while ago, but the works have yet to begin, due to the economic agent's negligence.
Drivers claim that they need to go around a few streets. They are especially displeased by the fact that the road is closed for more than a year, while there is no information regarding disassembling works.
"I have to go around much. It was better when the road was opened. We somehow manage" a driver said.
"It is inconvenient. Going around always leads to traffic congestion forming"a woman mentioned.
"Now you can not go in any direction. So, you need to go around" another driver said.
Supposedly the building's owner lacks the financial means for those works.
"We spoke over the phone, he is abroad. This week the agent will return to Moldova and we will find out all the required information and inform you" chief of Ciocana sector, Galina Bostan declared.
Interim Mayor of the Capital, Silvia Radu was displeased that the terms for disassembling works have yet to be established and people cannot use the street.

The fire from Uzinelor street, claimed the life of two people, among whom counts a fireman. It took place on 11 November 2016. The flames were caused by a short circuit of the heating devices and the building lacked fire safety measures.
