Cabinet endorses Program on developing provision of emergency medical services
The Filip Cabinet has approved of a National Program on development emergency medical assistance till 2020.
The policy provides for strengthening and modernizing the ambulance emergency service and to create an integrated system providing help in emergencies.
The program aims at bettering the population’s access to emergency medical services, at enhancing patients’ surviving chances and at rapid provision of services to the population.
The Government recommends to the local authorities to make sure there is due infrastructure so that the emergency medical services should be rendered properly.
The funds to be employed to carry out this plan till 2020 are assessed at 2.3 billion lei. A part of that money is expected from foreign partners.
