The Cabinet has endorsed a bill on adding 92 ha of land to the Free Economic Zone Valkaneș.

In fact this means the zone will have two subzones in the southern towns of Comrat Ceadîr-Lunga. 

The move is meant to step up the economic development of the Gagauz area. 

Foreign investors are reported to state willingness to invest in the new subzones what would lead to more jobs and local taxes in those localities.
