Candu: I wonder if we need the Presidency
Silvia Radu and Nicolae Ciubuc took the oath to lead the Minister of Health, Labor and Social Protection, but also the one of Agriculture, Regional Development and Environment. The decrees were signed by Andrian Candu, the President of the Parliament who is the interim of Moldova's president, after Igor Dodon has been temporary stripped of his power.
"I regret that these ministers take the oath in the company of an interim. It is regrettable that not everybody obeys the Constitution. As Igor Dodon rejected these candidates, the Constitutional Court temporary stripped him of power.I regret that he has such an attitude. It is for the fourth time when he is stripped. Maybe we don't need a President anymore. The President should not be a political player", said Andrian Candu.
On Monday, the Constitutional Court decided to strip Igor Dodon of his power, as he didn't want to name the new ministers of Health, Social Protection and Labor, and the one of Agriculture, Regional Development and Environment.
