The Capital has seen 69 car accidents in the past 48 hours, resulting with eight people that required medical assistance. Drivers found guilty have received criminal files.

In 20 cases of minor accidents, without significant damages, drivers received 900 to 1 500 lei fines and penalty points.

Most of the times driver forgot to ensure that they can safely make a turn, ignored to maintain distance between the vehicles, have not prioritized others at intersections and have used excessive speed.
