A car instructor from Cahul was detained by the police, being suspected of traffic of influence.

According to the informant, the man, an instructor at the SE “Specialists Preparation Centre for National Army” Cahul office, requested 600 euro, claiming that the has influence on public persons from Cahul Transport Registration and Driver Qualifications Department, for the qualification exam passing and obtaining the driver’s license (categories A2, B, C1).

The instructor was caught red-handed while receiving the sum of 300 euro, money sent under the CNA control.

The instructor was taken as defendant and detained for 72 hours.

A penal case was started in this regard for traffic of influence.

If found guilty, the man might receive a sentence of 2 to 6 years in jail or a fine of 15,000 to 20,000 conventional units.
