Many cars equipped with radar will monitor the activity on the national roads. Due to these actions, the police want to provide the traffic security and prevent the accidents and identify the drivers with excessive speed.

"We monitor the daily traffic to prevent the road accidents, because we care about you and your family", said the Police of the Republic of Moldova.

According to the statistics, starting this year, 678 accidents occurred and 84 people died and 794 were injured.

Of the total number of accidents, 205 were provoked by excessive speed. Because of this, 47 persons died and other 213 persons were wounded.
