Case of woman from Chisinau who murdered her husband in Zatoca transmitted to Court
Prosecutor's Office for the combating of organized crime and special causes finished the penal investigation according to the murder of a person in 2002, in Zatoka, Ukraine.
After the penal investigation, the actions and special measures of the Prosecutor's Office for the combating of organized crime and special causes, the General Direction of IGP and the officers of the INI of IGP and MAI established that in August, 2002, the defendant planned a family trip to Zatoka, Odessa district. She planned this after she knew the victim posses 34 000 USD after working in England for a while. She murdered her husband because of the bad relationship between those two.
From August 15 to 16, 2002, the defendant put some pills with toxic effect in his drink. Therefore, the man died after he got intoxicated.
After she committed the crime, she called their Godfather who advised her to hide all the traces of the crime. Thus, she burned the envelopes of the pills and left the place of the crime.
Now, the defendants are in preventive arrest. If found guilty, they risk 20 years in prison.
