CEC: There were no attempts of double voting
CEC presented the last information regarding today's voting. According to Alina Rusu, the CEC President, there weren't registered any attempts of double voting.
"The voting will stop in less than three hours. Once the voting polls will close, the election workers will start counting the ballots both for the parliamentary elections and for the referendum.
Immediately after the protocols will be submitted, these will be introduced in the state informational system. Thus, we can see the preliminary results on the screens and also online.
1,3 million people, which amounts to 46% of the population have already voted. Within the 2014 parliamentary elections 51% of the population voted by this hour. What about the 2016 presidential elections, 47% of the citizens voted by this time.
In the 123 voting polls, 62 thousand citizens voted. The most requests voting polls are the ones from the Eastern London. The residents of this side can go to the Embassy and vote.
The Dublin voting poll is also crowded. What about the residents of Transnistria, they are also very active. 35 thousand citizens voted by this time.
53% of the people who voted are women, while 47% men. The most active voters are aged between 56 and 70, 35%. The most passive are the young aged up to 25. Only 8% of young voted.
This year, surveillance cameras have been installed in the polling stations. These aim to monitor the elections.
