The activity of the custom service is regulated by a new law, adjusted to the international standards. The new law established the main functions of the custom service, that aim to implement the state's politics, facilitate the international trade,provide the retrospection of the customs regulations,  provide the security and the customs surveillance.

Among the most important requirements, we can mention the ones that target the customs employee. Thus, according to the new stipulations, the ones who want to get employed in this sphere should pass a test.

Also, the office of director of the Customs post will be taken for five years.

At the same time, there were introduced new regulations regarding the stimulation of the customs employees, among which, punishments. 

 The new regulations also provide for the awarding of special degrees to all employees of the system, as well as the return of travel expenses for customs officials who carry out their duties in places other than the one in which they are domiciled.

Also, in the law there are explained the main responsibilities of the Customs service. The law also provides the rights and the duties of the employee.
