Chased out of their home before holidays
A family from the Capital risks to remain in the street. A mother and four children who live in the basement of a block of flats from Botanica sector of the Capital. They have received the space temporary, in 2000, by the authorities. Recently, in the same basement there was opened a store. The owner of the store blocked their access in the country and threatens them she will chase away from the house.
Tatiana Postolache tells her husband worked in the state security. After they divorced, the man left and Tatiana with her four daughters remained to live in this building. The woman tried to find a job abroad, but, she returned, because she couldn't leave her children.
"She left and I remained with my younger sisters. I was preparing food, taking care of my sisters. I tried to be like a mother for my elder sisters", said Adriana Postolache, daughter.
Two years ago, the older sister moved to Italy, she found a job and now, she helps her mother.
"She had chronic pillonephritis since she left. All the money she gained in a year she had spent on treatment", said Tatiana postolache, mother.
Now, the family has another big problem. They don't have access to the bathroom.
"Since may, the owner of the store closed the entrance to the bathroom", said Tatiana Postolache.
The responsible from the Botanica branch say they are trying to solve this problem.
"The Municipal Council must get involved in this problem. On the base of the demarche, we will establish how this family will use this space", said Oleg Ratoi, chief of Botanica branch.
At the same time, the authorities say the manager of the store didn't have the right to close the bathroom and in a short time the family will receive the access to it. During the day, the manager of the store will come with comment on this subject.
