Children and speaker Andrian Candu stick smoke discouraging warnings in Parliament building
The Moldovan Parliament has started to enact the Law prohibiting smoking as the MPs are warned one mai not smoke in the building.
In an awareness move concerning the bad consequences smoking has on one’s health, a group of children and speaker Andrian Candu posted stickers in the Parliament’s hall calling on MPs to quit smoking.
"Let’s tell the adults one is not allowed to smoke in the Parliament or in any closed room. They harm themselves, the people and children around them,” said Andrian Candu, recommending a healthy life style.
As of May 31, the Law bans smoking in closed and semi-closed areas in Moldova, as public places, companies, entertainment entities and on playgrounds, stadiums, arenas and squares.
