Children from Cupcui Orphanage received Easter gifts from APIA and Association of Dairy Farmers
For easter holidays, employees from Agency of Payments and Intervention for Agriculture (APIA) decided to bring gifts to orphans from Cupcui village, Leova district. Children received candies, tsourekis and fruits, but despite this, they claimed to be more happy that someone came to visit them.
Children gathered in the center's yard and were happily receiving the gifts.
They were looking forward in particular to the computers promised by AIPA employees.
"We will have an easier time doing our homework."
"We are all brothers here, we support each other."
"I was happy that all those people came here and are supporting us."
The guests also brought with them a refrigerator that was much needed in the kitchens.
"We thank them from the bottom of our hearts, I do not know why they chose us, but they are great people and are always asking if we need anything" manager of Cupcui Orphanage, Marina Calab said.
"We thought of what the children lacked most and based more on goods they cannot go without, as well as items that can be used for school" AIPA director, Nicolae Ciubuc explained.
The idea of AIPA employees also interested Association of Dairy Farmers.
"For two months we will ensure that the children will have local dairy produce. They don't have parents, so we wish to offer them this feeling of being cared for" president of Association of Dairy Farmers, Carolina Linte said.
To show their gratitude, the children recited poetry. Afterward, all boys played football with AIPA representatives.
In the Cupcui Orphanage live 31 children.
