Minister Chiril Gaburici announced when Good Roads for Moldova project will start within "In the spotlight" talk show on Publika TV.

The building works within "Good Roads for Moldova 2" project will start in May. At the same time, besides the roads, the bridges and the street lightening in many localities will be repaired.

"The work of the project will start at the end of April, beginning of May. There are many localities where we need to build more than just a portion of road. Thus, we will repair the street lightening and the bridges. For each locality, the project will be individual", said Chiril Gaburici.

This year, 2.600 kilometers of road will be repaired within Good Roads project. This is 1.000 kilometers more than the previous year. The money for this project are allocated by the Road fund and the state budget and the sum reaches 2,7 billion lei. The previous year, 1.600 road kilometers have been repaired in 1.200 localities. The total investment was worth 1,9 billion lei.
