Moldova hosts the third ONU World Conference of Wine Tourism. At the event will participate the representatives of 60 countries, among whom, Jaime Cabal, the general vice secretary of the World Tourism Organization. Their main target is to promote the image of Moldova.

Today, the conference will be hosted by Mimi Castle. In his speech, Chiril Gaburici said that our country has good wines, that promotes its image abroad.

"The USSR efforts to destroy our vineyards didn't succeed. Today, we have proven it to the whole world. Our wines become better from year to year. Today, the Republic of Moldova hosts an international conference, which proves that the value of our country. 55% of the World tourism belongs to Europe, which is 671 million tourists yearly. The number of tourists had raised by 7% the last year and still raises. 

We have what to show to the foreigners. We have 15 wineries and other six will be opened this year, while 17 the next year. Totally, we have 38 wineries, more than three years ago. Also, we had installed road signs to show where the wineries are placed. Our wines are good due to the ones who make it", declared Chiril Gaburici.
