Minister of Economy and Infrastructure, Chiril Gaburici, paid an unannounced visit to SE "State Road Administration". In this context, the Minister requested that all the monitoring rooms be functional and the pictures on them - made available to the citizens.

"It is a safe means with which anyone of us can monitor national routes and their circulation. It is important that all rooms are rehabilitated and put into operation", said Chiril Gaburici.

The Minister urges pedestrians and drivers to be prudent in traffic, to strictly adhere to traffic rules and road signs, to comply with the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation in force, especially those relating to the endowment of cars and their driving during the winter.

"We keep an eye on each route to make sure everything is accessible to the traffic. We have demonstrated since last winter that in a joint team and colleagues from other structures, we manage to make order on all roads. But it is also very important for road users not to start on the road, as this is the most common cause of winter skidding, traffic jams and road accidents", said the Minister. 

Road traffic on national roads is ensured under winter conditions. Road sections with increased danger are monitored jointly with representatives of the National Patrol PGI of the MIA, in order to intervene urgently in case of necessity.

When performing snow removal and snow removal works, 518 road machines and machinery are planned to be driven on public roads. More than 170 machines of JSC "Road" are equipped with satellite monitoring systems (GPS), so they will be able to monitor the use of road engineering during the execution of the works. Also, about 70 thousand tons of anti-skid material and 15 thousand tons of technical salt are prepared to combat the slider on the public roads, according to the length of national roads in the management.
