Chiril Gaburici: We are in a regional competition to provide an attractive affairs sphere
The affair climate from Republic of Moldova, the taxes from 2018, the modernization of the fiscal administration are some of the topics discussed within the yearly conference of PricewaterhouseCoopers Moldova (PwC).
Chiril Gaburici, the Minister of Economy and Infrastructure mentioned that among the ministry's priorities for 2018 there is also the development of the affairs sphere, by attracting foreign funds, providing a good infrastructure, energetic security, regulatory reform and so on.
"Of course, we will focus on the implementation of the Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Zone between Republic of Moldova and the European Union, that provides a consistent reform process of all the aspects that have an impact on our country. We are in a regional competition to provide the access of the foreign funds and making it attractive for the foreign founders", said Chiril Gaburici.
According to the minister of Economy and Inftrastructure, these steps will make Moldova rank higher and be more attractive for the EU.
"The citizens' opinion regarding the life level is very important. This is why, we concentrate more on emergency problems, as: providing all the economy spheres with employees. Only together, we can have a healthy vision on the actions that will be implemented", said Chiril Gaburici, the minister of Economy and Infrastructure.
In this context, the minister of Economy and Infrastructure thanked the development partners, inclusively the UK Government for their support in the economic reforms.
Within the conference, the participants will discuss about the reforms that will contribute to the development of the Moldovan fiscal service, the challenges of the companies in the fiscal reports, modernization of the fiscal administration, the competition rules and safety of the personal information. Also, another subject will be the success of the IT parks from Republic of Moldova.
The conference was organized by PwC Moldova who implemented the Good Governance Fund, financed by the UK Government.
