Chisinau airport is getting more and more crowded. In the first half of this year, airlines operating flights from the Capital carried one million 260,000 passengers, up 4.5 percent over the same period in 2017.The statistics show that most of the passengers used the services of the state-owned company "Air Moldova". In six months, the company sold 555,000 tickets. "Wizz Air Hungary" is the second place to transport around 190,000 passengers. Fly One had about 140,000 passengers, "Aeroflot" with over 90 thousand passengers and "Turkish Airlines" - with 71 thousand people.
One of the most popular flights among Chisinau airport passengers is Chisinau-Moscow, with almost 370 thousand passengers. There are races to Istanbul and London. To these destinations, 85 and 81 thousand passengers respectively flew.
At the same time, yesterday, the state-owned airline re-launched direct flights to Kiev. The travel price starts at 67 euros.
