Chisinau Police and City Hall continues the dismantling of parking barriers illegally installed in the public zones of the city.

While the police wants to contribute to the reduction of traffic, the owners of cafes where the indicators are placed, are opposing to these actions.

The road signal “Parking reserved” might be seen mostly near shops, restaurants, and companies’ headquarters. This way, the representatives of institutions are abusively booking parking lots for their clients.

Not all people understand that a public parking lot cannot become private.

Some of them tried to convince the authorities that this way they are taking care of pedestrians.

The drivers are welcoming the authorities’ actions.

The expenses for the dismantling of parking barriers will be supported by those who installed the barriers.
