Chisinau City Hall plans to renovate 8 pedestrian underpasses in 2018. Taking into consideration the budget means and the amount of work required, starting March 2018, the following pedestrian underpasses will be restored:

1. Pedestrian underpass from Dacia boulevard, Shopping mall MallDova and Municipal Hospital no 1;
2. Pedestrian underpass from Dacia 18/1 boulevard, intersection with Teilor Street;
3. Pedestrian underpass from Dacia 24/1 boulevard, intersection with Traian boulevard;
4. Pedestrian underpass from Dacia boulevard, Aeroport;
5. Pedestrian underpass from Negruzzi 10/1 boulevard;
6. Pedestrian underpass from Hâncești highway, near Ministry of Defense;
7. Pedestrian underpass from Hîncești 143/1 highway, near South Railway Station;
8. Pedestrian underpass from Ștefan cel Mare şi Sfânt 3/1 boulevard, intersection with Ciuflea street.

At the moment, „Chişinău-Proiect” Institute, is performing works to establish the necessary amount of work for every underpass, as well as expenses.

It has to be mentioned that Chisinau has a total of 20 underpasses. From them, 12 underpasses are taken care of by some economic agents. Since 2014, Chisinau municipal council has rented for 10 years, 11 underpasses, one of which expired.

Underpasses that are managed by economic agents are:

1. Pedestrian underpass from Ștefan cel Mare şi Sfânt, 8/1 boulevard;
2. Pedestrian underpass from C. Negruzzi 10/1 boulevard;
3. Pedestrian underpass from Iu. Gagarin 8/1 boulevard;
4. Pedestrian underpass from Decebal 59/1 boulevard;
5. Pedestrian underpass from "Dimitrie Cantemir” market;
6. Pedestrian underpass from Calea Ieșilor 3/1 street;
7. Pedestrian underpass from Ion Creangă 74/1 street;
8. Pedestrian underpass from Renașterii Naționale, 10 boulevard;
9. Pedestrian underpass from Alecu Russo 2/1 street;
10. Pedestrian underpass from Alecu Russo 59/6 street;
11. Pedestrian underpass from Hâncești 178/1 highway
12. Pedestrian underpass from Muncești 800/1 highway.
