The Chisinau Court motivated their decision to invalidate Andrei Nastase's mandate.
According to the instance, the appeal Andrei Nastase made at the elections is an urge to vote for him.

"Through the decision of the Chisinau Court of Appeal (June 12, 2018) the actions committed by Andrei Nastase on June 3, 2018 are electoral agitation. It has been proven that the all day long, the candidate made electoral agitation through a live video on Facebook.
By the end of June 15, 2018 of the Supreme Court of Justice, decided that the appeal of Dumitru Pavel lawyer in the interests of the Political Party "Platform of Dignity and Truth" and of Andrei Năstase was declared inadmissible.
In the context, the court states that the Chişinău Court of Appeal noted that during June 3, 2018, the election day, the candidate for mayoralty of Chisinau carried out electoral agitation, through a Live-Video, on his page of Facebook,. The court considered that, although he addressed to the voters, the electoral contestant urged them to vote and vote for who they considered to be the future mayor, his actions are considered to be electoral agitation.
