Chisinau residents might request allocations for heating in cold season, starting with tomorrow, 20 September 2016. The announcement was done by General Mayor Dorin Chirtoaca during today’s operative meeting.

If in 2015 the request could have been places starting with 15 October, in 2016 the authorities have changed the period in order to avoid forming rows at the building managers who are receiving the requests. Allocations can be requested by the families who did not overpass the monthly revenue of 2,500 lei per member for the last 12 months.

From this help can benefit persons who are heating their homes with thermal energy, power energy, natural gases, or coal.

In 2015, the authorities offered allocations for 36,200 families, in total amount of approximately 75 million lei.
