Hundreds of residents in the capital will be able to regulate their own temperature in homes. They will be able to pay their heating bills individually, not jointly, as they do now.
There will be registered a saving in consumption of about 30%.
The benefits are due to a new project initiated by Termoelectrica, according to which 124 residential buildings and 34 administrative buildings in the capital will benefit from the upgrading of the heating system.
The new system will allow tenants to have hot water non-stop, connect or disconnect from individual heat, without relying on housing association.
For this project, Termoelectrica has received a refundable credit worth 50 million lei for a period of 50 years.
