Over 500 amateur athletes enthusiastically competed over a distance of three kilometers to make a 10-year-old boy happier. Vlăduț was previously diagnosed with cerebral palsy and has a good care of his mother who works at the daytime and unfortunately does not afford to buy him a wheelchair. 

The runners, playing various actors Santa Claus or cats or clowns, wanted to support the child and to spread the message of love and sports at marathon. 

All the money collected in the event will be sent to the boy's family, according to the organizers. 

In the end, the most original costumes were awarded.

The Christmas marathon is in its seventh edition and it has been reserved for charities for five years.
