10,000 packages of cigarettes and a motor hang glider were seized by police on the R3 Chisinau-Hancesti road.

The detainment took place at the end of last week. The driver of the minibus transporting the goods could not declare from where he has them.

From the primary investigations, it was established that the entire batch of cigarettes had to be transported to Romania with the flying apparatus.

The driver, a 30-year-old Moldovan citizen, has avoided giving declarations.
