The most intelligent humanoid robot from the world, Sophia, has launched, together with the Moldovan Minister of Economy and Infrastructure, Chiril Gaburici internationally, the program to acquire Moldovan citizenship through investment.
The event took place in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and was moderated by Sophia, who for more than a year has a Saudi passport and is the first robot with citizenship.
"I am Sophia and I am excited to be the first robot invited to the Global Conference of Residence and Citizenship", said Sophia.
The Sophia robot was activated three years ago and was scheduled to learn and work with people. Meanwhile, she became a star. She participated in several television shows, interviewed and even played in a concert.
Last September, Sophia was invited to a meeting of a United Nations General Assembly committee. This time, in Dubai, she moderated the Global Conference of Residence and Citizenship.
"The first question is for his excellence Chiril Gaburici Congratulations on the citizenship program by investing! You have to be delighted! We want to know what this program is unique to other similar programs", said the robot
"From an economic point of view, we have access to certain markets, which is about one billion potential customers, due to the free trade agreements we have concluded with the CIS countries, the EU countries, Turkey, and we are now in negotiations with China, "Economy and Infrastructure Minister Chiril Gaburici said.
Chiril Gaburici said that such a program will make Moldova's economy more attractive to foreign investors. Moreover, not only foreign citizens but also Moldovan people will win.
"These funds invested in infrastructure will create a better life for Moldovan citizens. And last but not least, the Republic of Moldova is a unique, authentic and beautiful country with good people, and those who visit our country once will come again", said Chiril Gaburici, Minister of Economy and Infrastructure.
