The Municipal Council voted in the first reading the draft budget of the Capital for 2019. The document provides revenues of 3.9 billion lei, three percent more than in 2018.

At the same time, the expenditures of the municipal budget are estimated at 4.2 billion lei, four percent more than this year.

More than half of the total spending, ie almost 2.2 billion lei, will be directed to the education field.

For transport and public lighting there are over one million lei, and 340 thousand lei will be spent for social protection.

Thus, the budget deficit next year will be about 325 million lei .
