Rodica Gutu, the director of the General Direction of Education, Youth and Sports said that the state institutions should not collect money. This was announced after Ruslan Codrenu, the interim of Chisinau said that the No.164 kindergarten from Capital collects between 1.600 and 1.000 lei for the Teacher's Day and up to 600 lei for hygiene works.

"The state institutions should not collect money. I am surprised about the sums that are collected within some institutions. I will go to talk with the administration of this kindergarten and ask for explanations. I urge the parents to tell us they are are obliged to do such activities in schools or kindergartens. Also, the administration of this kindergarten will be punished. But, still, we need proofs on this subject", said Rodica Gutu, the director of the Education, Youth and Sports Direction.

Ruslan Codreanu mentioned that the parents associations and the kindergatens are two separate judicial entities. Only this way the money collecting is fair, otherwise not.
