Collections to state budget up by 11 per cent in 2016
Receipts from National Public Budget (BPN) administered by the State Tax Service (SFS) in 2016 amounted to 27.6 billion lei and increased by 11 per cent compared to 2015.
According to SFS’s press service, state budget received 11.55 billion lei in 2016, which is by 1.26 billion lei more compared to 2015 (excluding the license fee as a single payment received in 2015 from telecommunications companies), or an increase of 12.2 per cent.
The budgets of administrative-territorial units in 2016, exceeding revenues by 12.4 per cent compared to the result of 2015, being received 3.27 billion lei.
Also in 2016, state social insurance budget collected 9.653 billion lei, which is by 8.3 per cent more compared to 2015.
The compulsory health insurance funds received 3.154 billion lei, or an increase of 14.0 per cent compared to 2015.
Following the results above, the State Tax Service share of contributions administered into BPN (without grants) increased from 61.2 per cent in 2015 to 61.7 per cent in 2016.
