Even though Maia Sandu and Andrei Nastase refused to shake hands with President Igor Dodon, the head of state are not willing to comment on this gesture. 

"I don't want to comment what does this greeting mean. The fact that they came today is a respect for the presidential institution", said head of state Igor Dodon.
