The Competition Council has opened an office in Comrat, the administrative center of the Gagauz Autonomy in southern Moldova.
At an opening ceremony, 50 village mayors and district presidents from the area greeted the event, which will not make necessary for them to go to Chisinau for any consulting.
"Any mayor must report about the state assistance. And they must observe all the procedures to get these external funds. Our colleagues working here will ease this process," said Competition Council president Viorica Cărare.
A similar office works already in Ialoveni, near Chisinau, as two more are planned to open in Bălţi and Cahul.
