Many artists remembered beautiful moments spent in Moldova's heart and urged citizens to protect their city and heritage. Among those who came with congratulation messages counted: Eugen Doga, Spiridon Vangheli and Vladimir Beșleagă.

"This city holds memories of my first love, my first disappointment and my first regrets. May city remain maintained the same as it is. Happy City Day to all", compositor Eugen Doga said.

"We are glad to live in the same country as Maria Bieşu, Doina and Ion Aldea Teodorivic, renown doctor Nicolae Testemiţeanu, Grigore Vieru" writer Spiridon Vangheli spoke.

"I have been through many cities, but Chisinau will always hold a special place in my heart" artist Lidia Botezatu said.

Saturday, with occasion of City Day Radu Dolgan, Alex Calancea, Guz, Mariana Bulicanu and Tania Cergă were invited to hold a concert in the Great National Assembly Square.

"Our dear citizens and guests, we will be glad if you join us on October 14" singer Mariana Bulicanu declared.

Special guest from Romania Ștefan Bănică, has also wished citizens a happy City Day.

While some artists praised Chisinau in short videos, Gheorghe Urschi has made a solo appearance on stage. "Chisinau is my Luceafărul" declared the comedian. The video was viewed and appreciated by thousands of people.

This year, Chisinau becomes 581-year-old.
